Water Restoration

coralrestpossib4The oceans make up 71% of our earth’s surface, the seas are overfished and the corals are seriously degraded. Inland, rivers and lakes are also suffering from pollution, loss of fish and other underwater species. Restoring our oceans and wetlands is a very important task. Some ways to do so include:

Restoring coral reefs - Global Coral Reef Alliance, GCRA, a non-profit, is dedicated to protecting, growing, restoring, studying and managing coral reefs around the world - www.globalcoral.org

Reef balls - Reef Ball Foundation - Non-profit organization dedicated to making new aquatic habitats by helping folks build Reef Ball artificial reefs - www.reefball.org

Restoring Rivers - the River Restoration Centre - www.therrc.co.ukbaiji-2049
